I've been on a poetic journey for a really long time now but only used to write poetry to help myself through a cathartic process. And now I get to learn and explore different techniques from haikus to odes and I'm learning so much in this 12 week course. You get to hear from different poets, different examples, writing prompts and there's a salon that is so intrumental because you get to join with other poets, like minded individuals who want to share their work in a safe space. In a time when we need more humanities like poetry and literature and art, this is a perfect thing to dive into and really get a sense of who you are and explore and share your views with the world in a beautiful artistic way.
